What is FlexiO Max?
FlexiO Max is FlexiO’s free subscription service, which is activated when you switch to a FlexiO tariff. Whilst FlexiO already manages your battery and charging point intelligently, FlexiO Max gives you access to the wholesale markets.
With a FlexiO tariff, you benefit from the real energy price. But you’ll never pay more than the price you know in advance.
A dynamic tariff follows the market. It’s great when prices are low, but not so great on an expensive winter’s day. A variable tariff is predictable, but you can’t take advantage of the good times.
We felt you shouldn’t have to choose. That’s why a FlexiO tariff offers both benefits.
Behind the scenes, the FlexiO tariff gives you access to the wholesale market. There, you reap all the benefits of a dynamic tariff. We buy in smartly and deliberately deviate from this to earn extra Flex euros. We offset these Flex euros against your energy bill every month. Simple and transparent.
On the other hand, you’re always protected from market fluctuations thanks to the price guarantee of your variable FlexiO tariff. Are we unable to manage the market for a while? Or is the market simply very expensive? You’re protected. You’ll never pay more than the price of your variable tariff. And we’ll always manage the market to your advantage: Flex euros, on your bill.
Why is it free?
No small print, just the reason: you make your installation available to help keep the grid stable. And in return, you’re compensated with Flex euros. We take a small portion of your Flex euros to cover ourselves against the risks of the wholesale market. In exchange, we waive our subscription fees.
This way, everyone benefits. If we create significant added value, you’ll benefit too. If we perform poorly, we won’t get anything either. You’re guaranteed a fair partner and the best possible energy price thanks to the variable FlexiO tariff!
