FlexiO is Belgian. We build the hardware and the software ourselves, and we answer the phone ourselves. That's deliberate, whoever builds the technology can also explain it.
Your solar panels, home battery, and EV are part of the new energy system, but they need to work together.
FlexiO links your devices so they automatically run when power is cheapest and greenest.
And that while reducing your costs while supporting the grid and a fair energy transition.

One home battery doesn't change the market. Thousands together do. FlexiO pitches in during scarcity and pauses during surplus. Exactly the balance a green grid needs.
But your bill stays yours, and so the trade-off stays yours. FlexiO only pitches in when it works out in your favour at the bottom line. Never at the cost of your comfort, never at the cost of your bill.
Letting an installation take part in the energy market can't be done without the grid operators. We're connected as a recognised party. That's why your battery is allowed to pitch in when our electricity grid needs it.

FlexiO is the brand. LIFEPOWR is the company behind it. And it started in 2015 with something other than software.
LIFEPOWR is founded. At this point we're still developing batteries ourselves.
The switch. The first FlexiO is being installed. Following a seed investment from SPDG and the Vlerick Group, we are fully committed to smart steering.
LIFEPOWR is recognised as a Balancing Service Provder (BSP): The organisation is authorised to deploy installations and maintain the balance of the electricity grid.
With more than 13,200 active FlexiOs in Belgium, we've grown into the largest EMS+ of Belgium. Since a year, we trade electricty smartly together with energy suppliers.

Years of building batteries doesn't just leave you. That knowledge is still in-house, with people who were there from the start. You notice it where it counts: when support has to figure out why a battery is behaving oddly, when we analyse a fault, and when we decide how the steering handles wear.
We know what happens inside that box, because we built it ourselves.
More homes taking part: in Flanders, in Wallonia and in the Netherlands. The bigger the group, the more we can mean for the grid and the better we can keep developing our product.
And more devices to steer. We want to keep extending the number of compatible chargers, home batteries and inverters, so ever more installations can take part.
The heat pump tops that list. In a few years it has grown enormously in popularity in the modern installation, and it's also one of the biggest consumers in the house. That's exactly why there's so much to gain.
Stay up to date on new developments and features, or simply fun facts. Once a month. We hate a full inbox too.
We're looking for people who can explain complex technology simply, and who don't mind picking up the phone themselves. That goes for the software just as much as for support.
